Safety Management
ICAO Annex 19 now requires Safety Management in all aviation Service Providers. This refers to a Safety Management System (SMS) with the required components and elements, where hazards are identified and mitigated within a formal structure. Safety performance is proactively measured and tracked with improvement targets to check our actions have been effective. Annex 19 Edition 2, already Effective, includes Safety Management and Safety Performance Improvement at the State level as part of the State Safety Programme. We can offer help in implementing programmes at both the State and Service Provider level.
